Financial support by parents plays a significant role in providing resources that extend the school’s capacity to add value to the learning experiences of students. The continuing partnership between our school and parents is vital to ensuring all students receive a level of education sufficient to carry them forward in today’s society.
The Settlers Primary School Board has endorsed the schedule of Contributions and Charges for 2024.
The contributions and charges can be broken into four sections:
1. Voluntary Contributions – A voluntary contribution towards the cost of items used in the educational program provided for your child.
2. Charges for extra cost optional items – these are estimated amounts for non-compulsory activities which require payment as a condition of participation by students.
3. Items for personal use in the education program – This includes items traditionally included on the school booklist.
4. Voluntary Approved Funds – Contributions made to the P & C, Kindergarten Committee or Pre Primary Committee or similar
Payment of Contributions and Charges
Payment of Voluntary Contributions can be made with your Personal Items List through Campion for the school year ahead, at any time via the QKR app, at the school office by cash, cheque or EFTPOS or by direct deposit into the school bank account.

Parents will be notified of charges for upcoming optional items such as excursions, incursions and other extra cost items prior to the event with a note home through the classroom. These can also be paid via the QKR app, at the school office by cash, cheque or EFTPOS or by direct deposit into the school bank account.
