Welcome to Settlers Primary School.
Settlers Primary has been part of the Baldivis community since 2005, growing alongside the families and neighbourhoods around us. Today, we’re proud to be a thriving school of more than 650 students, where children are known, supported and encouraged to grow from wherever they begin.
At Settlers, we believe that every student can make meaningful progress. Strong relationships between staff, students and families help create the kind of learning environment where kids feel safe, confident and ready to learn. We focus on consistent teaching practices that support every child to take the next step forward academically, socially and emotionally.
For our youngest learners, we know how important those first years of school are. Our early childhood programs balance purposeful play with direct teaching of foundational skills like phonics, helping children develop confidence and a love of learning right from the start.
Across the school, we integrate technology in a way that encourages curiosity and creative thinking. Our students learn how to problem-solve, collaborate and understand the world around them, while also building awareness of their place in their community and the wider world.
Our teaching team is passionate, skilled and deeply committed to their students. From classroom teachers to our specialists in The Arts, Science, Languages and PE, we work together to create consistent, high-quality learning experiences that help students thrive.
We also believe that schools are more than just places to learn, they’re places to connect. That’s why we work closely with our School Board and P&C to make sure Settlers reflects the hopes and values of our community. No matter how large we grow, we want Settlers to always feel like your local school.
